'You Can Make It' - Will Smith releases inspiring new song

The comeback is always bigger than the setback! Will Smith urges his fans not to give up when facing adversity because "every storm runs out of rain"...
Will Smith performed his new song, 'You Can Make It', live for the first time at the 2024 BET Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The song was officially released two days before the 'Bad Boys: Ride or Die' star debuted the song live at the ceremony. The track features Fridayy and the Sunday Service Choir.
Gospel musicians Kirk Franklin and Chandler Moore joined Will onstage at the BET Awards.
"I don't know who needs to hear this right now, but whatever is going on in your life, I'm here to tell you, you can make it," Will Smith said before starting his rap verse.
Sources told Variety ahead of the performance that Will is working on a new album. The 55-year-old has yet to share any details about the secret project.
'You Can Make It' is Will's first solo single release since he slapped Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars.
"I have returned Home! The comeback is always bigger than the setback," Will, a former BET Awards host, wrote on X.

Will Smith 'You Can Make It' lyrics
Will performed 'You Can Make It' while surrounded by a ring of fire. The song's lyrics are also inspiring.
"You are in the smoke and the fire / Tight rope on the wires/ I see you’re broken and tired /And all your hope is expired
You’re just done with the change and the games and the shame / And the world is insane all the pain
from the flames that you walk through / But no one to talk to
the ghost that’ll haunt you/ And thoughts that’ll taunt you/ Tryna heal but the battles uphill," Will raps on the song.
The fire was washed away by rain at one point during the performance.
"Believe me, they tried to bleed Will Smith / In the rear view I see adversity was the gift / To lift me higher gifts requires faith / So dry your eyes and then you’ll find the way /Out of the madness out of the maze /Out of the saddest into the rays the darkest of nights turns into day /And every storm runs out of rain / Hold on / Don't give up on me, I need you to hold on."
The song's lyrics hit home for many viewers.
"This was the best performance with the most meaningful message hands down," one YouTube user wrote about the performance.
Another user commented: "I'm not religious but this brought tears to my eyes."
