Tyla Jump lyrics

Tyla's new song pays homage to her roots. The lyrics to 'Jump' read:

They ain't never had a pretty girl from Jo'burg
See me now and that's what they prefer
I don't touch no wheel 'cause I got a chauffeur
First class how I get 'round the world

Tyla's 'Jump' video has been described as 'cinematic South African excellence and representation' by her fans.

"Wow, finally, an artist who shows other parts of South Africa, not these American wannabe artists who always shoot their MVs in fancy places. You’re here to stay, Queen Mzansi loves wholeheartedly," one YouTube user commented.

'Jump' is one of several songs from Tyla's debut album that reached the top 10 of Billboard's U.S. Afrobeats Chart.

Her smash hit, 'Water', remains at number one on the chart months after its release. It has spent a total of 37 weeks at #1.
