WATCH: Josh Wantie smashes his #ECRMoreMusicMarch live performance!
Updated | By East Coast Radio
We knew we were in for a treat and Josh (and his special guest) did not disappoint!
We promised you more music this March and we are here to deliver.
Gracing the, socially distanced, stage for the first of the Darren, Keri, and Sky FriYAY live performances is lekker local talent: Josh Wantie!
Josh might now be based in London, but his music career began right here in South Africa after he was discovered whilst performing in a hotel lobby.
He signed his record deal in 2015 and the rest is history.
Since then, he has released countless chart-topping singles, graced the airwaves of local and international radio stations, and amassed more than 35-million plays across multiple streaming services.
His blend of electro beats, indie folkish vocals, and brilliant production comes together seamlessly and will captivate you immediately.
Trust us when we say you'll be listening to his tunes on repeat!
Not convinced quite yet? We'll just let Josh's talents speak (or rather sing) for themselves.
His setlist includes 'One More Night', which also features another SA group Wax Beach, and 'Savanna'.
But that's not all, he is not alone, as he is also joined by another international star, British singer-songwriter, Conor Maynard.
The pair, who are also really good friends, are performing their collaborative single 'Never Let Me Go' (which you might recognise from the ECR playlist...)
Watch the full performance right here:
A massive thank you to Josh and Conor Maynard for taking the time to join us and provide some entertainment this Friday.
