Tyla's 'Water' charts on the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time
'Water' is climbing up the charts all over the world...
South African singer Tyla is celebrating a major music milestone. Her hit song, 'Water', is officially a Billboard Hot 100 hit.
'Water' entered the chart at #67 this week.
It is the first time one of Tyla's songs has featured on the Hot 100 chart, which is currently being led by Doja Cat's 'Paint The Town Red'.

'Water' has become a hit all over the world since its release in July. It is currently in the top 10 on the Official Singles Chart in the UK.
The song has nearly 50-million streams on Spotify as of Wednesday, October 11.
Tyla also secured her first interview on an international talk show.
She appeared on 'Bianca', a Swedish show hosted by Bianca Ingrosso. The 21-year-old spoke about the song's success, revealing that she knew it was going to be a hit.
Several artists shared the song on their social media platforms, with some messaging her directly to tell her how much they love it.
"Then people started [putting] it on TikTok and doing challenges. But when I performed in Rwanda… it went crazy. That's when it really took off," the 'Getting Late' hitmaker told Bianca.

Tyla also spoke to Bianca about the moment she met Kim Kardashian at a Dolce & Gabbana show in Milan earlier this year.
"I am still shocked that I was literally right next to her... She introduced herself like we don't know that she's Kim," she said.

Tyla released the official music video for 'Water' on YouTube earlier this month.
The video has already been viewed more than four-million times. Fans can also find the 'Water' lyrics in the video's caption.
Tyla, who is known for mixing Amapiano, R&B, and pop, has been described by her fans as the 'Rihanna of our generation'.
Some have also called her the Ariana Grande of Africa because of her amazing vocals.
"I’m a South African girl born and raised in Johannesburg. This is crazy," she tweeted about her success abroad.
