Tyla says her new album will allow the world to experience an African Popstar.
'Water' hitmaker Tyla has announced a new album!
The 21-year-old is set to release her self-titled debut album in March 2024.
Ahead of the album release, the singer released three new songs - 'On and On', 'Truth or Dare', and 'Butterflies'.

Her other single, 'Water', which is also taken from the upcoming album, is currently No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and No. 1 for a fourth week on the R&B Digital Song Sales chart, reports Rated R &B.
It was even nominated for a Grammy. Currently, the music video for the song, which was released a month ago, has 60-million views on YouTube.
"Everything that’s happening has surpassed anything I could have dreamt of," she wrote on IG.
The singer revealed that she has been working on the new album for the past two years.
"African music is going global and I’m so blessed to be one of the artists pushing the culture. I’ve been working on my sound for 2 years now and I’m so ready for the world to hear it," she wrote.
The South African star concluded her post by saying she "cannot wait for the world to experience an African Popstar".

"This Only still the beginning. We Very Proud of you Team SA," wrote DJ Sbu on Tyla's IG post.
Singer Jade Amar also wrote: "I haven’t met you yet and idk what it is. But I’m proud of you like I was there for the whole journey or something. You just have it. Congrats on your debut."
"Tybaby we are so proud of you. Keep shining and waving our flag 🇿🇦 high. We love you," wrote Tansey Coetzee.
