These are the top 10 best songs of 2024

What's your favourite song of 2024 thus far? A global music publication has listed the best tracks of the past six months.
We are six months into the year, and dozens of new songs have been released from some of the big names in the music industry.
South African singer Tyla released her highly anticipated debut album in March. The album produced hit songs like 'Jump' and 'ART'.
Billboard has released a list of tracks it deems the best songs of 2024 so far.
The list includes chart-topping songs from artists such as Shakira, Megan Thee Stallion, Willow, SZA, Jelly Roll, Tems and Olivia Rodrigo.

Billboard's 50 Best Songs of 2024 list includes a few surprises but there's no denying the chart-topping power of some of the tracks in the top 10.
Two Ariana Grande songs made the list. 'Yes and?' came in at #24, while 'We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love' is at #7.
Both songs feature on Ariana's latest album, 'Eternal Sunshine'.

Billie Eilish also has two songs on the list. 'Lunch', the lead single from her new album, 'Hit Me Hard & Soft', was placed at #5.
'Birds of a Feather' came in at #23.

Beyoncé also has multiple songs on the list. The 42-year-old released her country-inspired album, 'Cowboy Carter' in March.
The 27-track album featured collaborations with Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus, Willie Nelson and Linda Martell.
'Bodguard' has been named #19 best song of the year so far, while 'Texas Hold 'Em' is #4.

And the best song of 2024 so far, according to Billboard, is...
Sabrina Carpenter has the #1 song of 2024, and it looks like the singer is only getting started.
Her smash hit, 'Espresso', is climbing up the charts worldwide.
It's currently #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Billboard Global 200. The song is the lead single on her upcoming album, 'Short n Sweet'.
The album's second release, 'Please Please Please' is #2 on both charts.
'Espresso' is also the number one song on the ECR Top 40 with Danny brought to you by CTM.
