Taylor Swift's music returns to TikTok

Taylor Swift's music is back on TikTok despite the streaming platform’s ongoing licencing dispute with Universal Music Group.

TikTok users were left delighted after Taylor Swift's music reappeared on the streaming platform.
According to BBC, Taylor's music returned to the streaming platform on Thursday.
This comes after Universal Music Group went to war with TikTok over licencing terms. The dispute led to many artists' music being removed from the platform.

According to The New York Times, the available songs are from the period since she signed with Universal in 2018 and her “Taylor’s version” re-recordings which she recently released.
Some of the songs include 'Anti-Hero' and re-recordings of 'Shake It Off' and 'Lover'.
The exciting news comes as Taylor is getting ready to release her latest album, 'The Tortured Poets Department'.
The new offering will be released on April 19 and features two major collaborations with Post Malone and Florence + The Machine.
It has 16 songs plus one bonus track.
Taylor first announced the new album during her acceptance speech for best pop vocal for her 2022 record 'Midnights' in February.
