We are three months into 2025 and have already had amazing music collaborations featuring Gracie Abrams, Selena Gomez, and Benny Blanco.

Are SZA and Chappell Roan next?

Fans hope the answer is a big "yes" after Roan revealed in an interview on the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast that she would like to work with the 'Kill Bill' hitmaker

"SZA," she replied when asked who her dream artist was to collaborate with.

"I want to see that," one person commented on an Instagram post featuring a clip from the podcast.

Another person said: "We want it so bad. Yes, pls."

The good news is that SZA is already hyped for a possible collaboration. She reposted the clip on Instagram Stories.

"Didn't believe this quote when I saw it written till I saw it come out her mouth just now. Cause dead a** same," she wrote.

The Grammy award-winner added: "Pls, we must."

SZA has been fangirling over Chappel Roan for a couple of years now.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted SZA in the comments section of several of Roan's social media posts.

"These are Renaissance paintings," she said about pictures Roan shared.

"Ugh, you are incredible," she commented on another post.

It looks like the feeling is mutual.

In 2024, Roan listed seven songs she thought would become classics, including SZA's 'Good Days'.

It isn't a stretch to think that a collaboration between SZA and Chappell Roan is on the horizon – hopefully soon.

Roan is not the only artist keen to work with SZA. Tate McRae, ROSÉ and Lisa have also expressed desires to feature on a song with her.

“My dream is to write with SZA. She’s one of the coolest and best writers ever. I love her. I think it’d be a mix of pop and R&B. I’d let her take the charge!" McRae said in an interview with Pride

"I just want to always keep pushing my comfort zone. I never want to recycle and do the same things. As an artist, I want to be uncomfortable and shock myself sometimes.”

Lisa told The Guardian in an interview that she likes to wake up to SZA's 'Snooze'. She also praised the singer in a separate interview

"I would love to collaborate with SZA. I love her song, I love her music. I still listen to 'Snooze'. I love her so much."
