Summer Walker announces new EP featuring Tyla
Tyla is the new "it girl" of music and everyone is taking note, including some big stars.
R&B superstar Summer Walker has revealed that she is a big fan of South African singer Tyla, so much so that she decided to release a remix with the 'Water' hitmaker.
Summer has announced that she will be releasing three new remixes of her hit song, 'Girls Need Love'.
Her 'Girls Need Love (Girls Mix)' EP will include collaborations with Tyla, Tink, and Victoria Monét.
"We are thriving and I want to shine light on these beautiful ladies cus girls need love," Summer wrote on X (Twitter) on Monday.
Summer added in a separate tweet: "@Tylauraa_ has one of my favorite songs in a while."

Tyla's latest single, 'Water', has been taking the world by storm.
The song, which currently has more than 65-million streams on Spotify, earned the 21-year-old her first entry on the Billboard 100 chart.
It is currently number one on the UK's Official Afrobeats Chart. Tyla's music, which mixes amapiano, pop, and R&B, has earned her fans all over the world.
It is also in the top 10 on the Official Single Chart.

Summer Walker's EP featuring Tyla will be released on Friday, October 20.
The EP will also include the original solo version of 'Girls Need Love' and an acoustic version. The song first appeared on Summer's 2018 mixtape, 'Last Day of Summer'.
Drake appeared on the first remix of the track in 2019, but Summer says it's time for girls to shine. "'Last Day of Summer' is officially platinum and to thank you guys after 5 years of loving this project, I’m releasing new 'Girls Need Love' Remixes Friday…@champagnepapi blessed this song 5 years ago but GIRLS NEED LOVE TOO @victoriamonet @official__tink @tyla," Summer wrote about her new EP on Instagram.
