Amapiano music has gained a huge following overseas. The music genre, which is a sub-genre of house and jazz music, originated in South Africa before making its way to several parts of Africa.

Several international artists including Diddy, Usher, Swizz Beatz, and Alicia Keys have been spotted getting down to some of the biggest amapiano songs.

Focalistic's 'Ke Star' remix with Davido also made it on the Billboard music charts in America. It featured on the Top Triller Global Charts in 2021.
