Shocking reason why Madonna refused to work with David Guetta
It had nothing to do with David Guetta’s musical talent, but
his astrological sign…
It’s been almost a decade since the Queen of Pop’s ‘MDNA’ album was released. But what most people don’t know is that the star almost worked with two-time Grammy winner David Guetta to produce the album.
This comes after the DJ released a remix of Madonna’s song, ‘Revolver’. The song did so well that Madonna asked Guetta to work with her on ‘MDNA’.
"She tells me that she loves this remix and she suggests that I produce her next album," Guetta told Mcfly et Carlito during an interview.
The two then met for lunch to discuss the album.
“I arrive for lunch. We talk about everything - the music, what she wants to do with the album. Super nice. It's just her and me. Very relaxed, very cool. We have lunch. It's happening. Very good and you wonder when we start working together,” he added.
But things took a different turn when they started discussing their star signs.
Guetta says Madonna asked him what his star sign was, and he told her he is Scorpio.
"Suddenly, she makes a face and
she says to me, 'I'm sorry, we're not going to be able to work together.
It was a pleasure to know you. Goodbye!'"
