Sam Smith and Alicia Keys perform 'I'm Not The Only One'
Sam Smith says creating this version of the hit song was a dream.
A video of Sam Smith and Alicia Keys performing the re-recorded version of 'I'm Not The Only One' for the first time has music lovers In their feels.
The duo recorded the updated song at Jungle City Studios in June - one day after their surprise performance at Sam's Pride party at New York City's historic gay bar, Julius.
Sam, who uses the pronouns they/them, says recording the song with Alicia was a special experience.
"Creating this version of I’m Not The Only One was a dream. Hard to believe this is the first song we’ve recorded together, and incredible that it’s for such a special moment," they wrote on Instagram.
The new version of Sam's 2014 single is featured on the 10th anniversary edition of their debut album, 'In The Lonely Hour'. The reissue dropped on August 2 and features all 10 songs from the original album, including 'Stay With Me'.
'Little Sailor', a previously unreleased song, is also included.

Sam wrote 'I'm Not The Only One' with English songwriter and record producer, Jimmy Napes.
The 32-year-old says the track is one of the top three favourite songs they've ever written.
"Sometimes to figure out how we feel about someone or something, we have to step into the shoes of someone else to fully understand our own feelings," they captioned a picture of themselves hugging actress Dianna Agron.
The 'Glee' star is featured in the song's original music video. Sam says they learned a lot about themselves writing 'I'm Not The Only One.'
"This song was one of the first times I told a story in song through someone else’s eyes. I learnt so much about myself and about that person through this experience. Even though it’s a painful story and painful emotion, I really hope anyone who related to this song felt a little seen and understood by it."

The singer's fans are in love with the new version of 'I'm Not The Only One'.
