Rihanna is feeling "thankful" after her partner A$AP Rocky scored a major victory in court on Tuesday.

The rapper was reportedly facing up to 25 years in court for charges stemming from a 2021 incident involving former friend A$AP Relli. The rappers were part of a high school crew called A$AP Mob.

A$AP Relli claimed that during an altercation in Hollywood, A$AP Rock, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, pulled out a gun. He was allegedly grazed by one of the bullets.

A$AP Rocky pleaded not guilty to the charges, saying he was carrying a prop gun that did not fire real bullets and was therefore harmless. He refused to accept a plea deal, which included six months in prison, putting his faith in the jury.

The move paid off, as the jury took just three hours to find him not guilty of the two felony charges he faced.

A$AP Rocky was unable to control his emotions after hearing the verdict and immediately leapt into the gallery where an emotional Rihanna was sitting.

"Thank y’all for saving my life," he told the jury.

Rihanna took to Instagram Stories shortly after the verdict to express her gratitude.

"The glory belongs to God and God alone. Thankful. Humbled by his mercy!" she wrote.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have two children together, RZA Athelston and Riot Rose Mayers.

The rapper has previously stated that having children with the billionaire singer-turned-businesswoman is his greatest collaboration.

"I think we do a real great job at collaborating and making children. I think that’s our best creation so far. Nothing is better than that out there, any design," he told Complex in an interview.

In an interview with British Vogue, Rihanna described A$AP Rocky as her best friend.

"We have to be on the same page, but we’ve always kind of had that in our relationship. Everything changes when you have a baby but I wouldn’t say it’s done anything but made us closer," she told the publication after giving birth to RZA.

"I’m just sitting on the sidelines when they’re together. I’m literally the girl trying to get into the boys club, waiting for my turn. He is obsessed with his father. And I’m like: ‘Didn’t I give birth to you? What is going on?’ Their connection is undeniable."

The couple's fans joked that baby number three might be on the way following his big win in court.
