P!nk releases ‘Cover Me In Sunshine’ featuring her daughter

The single dropped on Friday, 12 February 2021.

P!nk shared the news on her social media pages. 

She said the song was created to inspire happiness amid the challenging times the world is facing due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

"We all know this year has been different and challenging and bad times – terrifying and tumultuous and angsty. I personally find comfort in music. I find comfort in song," said the multi-award winning star. 

She added that she enjoys singing with her children.

"We have this song called ‘Cover Me In Sunshine’ that we recorded at home because it made us feel happy., and so  we are going to put it out for no other reason than that we hope that the song makes you feel happy," said the 'Get The Party Started' hitmaker. 

"We thought we would put it out around Valentine’s Day as a big old hug and kiss from us to all y’all," she added.
