"Please unblock me" - Britney Spears' mom apologises to her on Instagram

The 'Oops!…I Did It Again' hitmaker is done with her family but her mother is making a desperate plea.
Britney Spears' mother, Lynne Spears, has apologised for everything that has hurt the singer. Lynne made the apology in the comments section of one of Britney's posts.
The singer shared a graphic on her Instagram that read: "I'm not perfect, I'm fine." Britney accompanied the image with a lengthy caption about why she is still upset with her family following her 13-year conservatorship.
"I can understand that my posts complaining about my past may seem consistent !!!! It must seem like I have an extremely hard time letting it all go … but for me, the real problem to me is that my family to this day honestly have no conscious whatsoever and really believe in their minds they have done nothing wrong at all!" the 40-year-old wrote.
Britney added that all she wants from her family- which includes her father Jamie Spears and her sister Jamie Lynn Spears - is a genuine apology so that she can get closure.
"They could at least take responsibility for their actions and actually own up to the fact [that] they hurt me," she wrote.

Her mother Lynne took to the comments section to ask her to unblock her so that they can talk. Sources told Page Six that Lynne has been trying to reach out to Brtiney via phone with no luck.
"I am so sorry for your pain. I have been sorry for years. I love you so much and miss you! Please unblock me, so I can speak to you in person. Britney, deep down you know how much I love and miss you!" Lynne wrote.

While, some people applauded her mother for apologising, many felt that her apology was not genuine.
"Does she take responsibility? Being sorry is one thing. Knowing your wrong is another. If anyone on here said that their cat passed away. I’d say sorry and I’d mean it. But that’s not taking responsibility or a genuine apology," one Twitter user wrote.
Another user commented: "She is not apologizing herself, she is just saying she is sorry for what Britney is feeling, meaning 0 accountability on the situation. I think all her family wouldn’t ever apologize for their actions at least in public as it may have some legal implications against themselves."
