Oh go on then, let's listen to some Creed

You are only lying to yourself if you deny loving a bit of Creed...

Some rock bands have been able to transcend musical genres and garner appreciation from all walks of life and tastes - even if many would never openly admit to it.

Creed is one such band.

No matter how hard you try to deny it, you have listened to a Creed song in the past out of choice. You've also tapped your foot to their tunes. You've bopped your head. Maybe you've even fully embraced them with strained facial expressions and that weird thing the lead singer does when he pulls clenched fists towards his chest. Yes, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

And it's okay, folks. You have nothing to be ashamed of... this isn't Nickelback.

Formed in Tallahassee, Florida, in 1994, Creed enjoyed huge success in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Their 1999 album, 'Human Clay', produced smash hits such as 'Higher' and 'With Arms Wide Open', while 2001's 'Weathered' featured bangers like 'My Sacrifice' and 'One Last Breath'. These songs truly put them on the map.

However, after numerous issues within the band, in particular with lead singer Scott Stapp, their fame fizzled out in 2004 and the band members went on to do other projects.

They attempted to make things work again in 2009 with some pretty epic tours, but in 2012 they dropped off the map completely yet again.

In 2023, the band announced that they would be heading back on the road to tour. A resurgence has been experienced to date, with many people now in their 40s and 50s feeling a little nostalgic about it all.

While it is unclear whether this current period in the spotlight will last (new album, maybe?), people around the world are loving the fact that the band are trying to make it work once again.

So, to celebrate their return and to remember their glory days, below are the music videos for their biggest hits.

Remember, it is okay to admit to liking Creed...
