Billy Joel releasing new music after 17 years

It’s time to turn the lights back on! Billy Joel has a brand new song on the way!
Singer and songwriter Billy Joel has announced that he will be dropping a new song next month.
The 74-year-old shared the news on Instagram. His new single will be called, 'Turn the Lights Back On'.
"It’s time to TURN THE LIGHTS BACK ON. Brand new single coming February 1st. Pre-order now at the link in bio!" he wrote.
Billy included a snippet of the song and its music video.

'Turn the Lights Back On' is the Grammy Award winner's first solo single since 2007's 'All My Life'. That song was released nearly 14 years after 'River of Dreams' - his final studio album.
Billy's fans are thrilled that he is making a comeback in 2024.
"Why am I bawling and haven't even heard it yet?!!!!!!!!!! Omg I'm so excited. Someone post that Michael Scott gif where he's like, 'IT'S HAPPENING!'" one fan wrote on Instagram.
Another user commented: "A new Billy Joel song for the first time in decades!? I am so excited."
The singer will be performing at the 2024 Grammys in February. South African comedian Trevor Noah will be hosting the ceremony for the fourth time.

It is likely that Billy will sing his new song at the event. The last time Billy made an appearance at the Grammys was in 2002 when he performed alongside Tony Bennett.
The 66th Annual Grammy Awards on taking place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 4.
