Mykyle is set to release his 3rd Single Waves featuring and co-produced by Gemini Major, and music video also featuring the Gemini, in October 2018.
Waves is written by Mykyle. The song was written with a summer beach holiday vibe where Mykyle taps into his romantic side.
He created a catchy melodic feel-good masterpiece that makes you want to dance to this afro-latin hip-hop/pop song. The song is a perfect easy-flowing, sing-along tune with an afro-salsa twist. The song is co-produced by Emblazon and Gemini Major.
"I am excited about this track for the festive season coming up. It’s one, especially for the ladies. I just want people to enjoy the vibe of the song and allow it to get them into a holiday spirit. I really enjoyed collaborating with Gemini on this track. He brought his signature afro hip-hop flavour to the song. I think people are going to love the energy and good vibes of the track. It’s one for all those beach lovers out there. Shooting my first video was super exciting. We got to travel to some beautiful beach locations and sharing some scenes with Gemini were full of high energy. The video is vibrant and tropical, but fun and young. I am looking forward to seeing how my fans react to it," said Mykyle.

Mykyle describes himself as funny, independent, bold, crazy, and a leader; and is certainly not your average teenager. His successful music career comes off the mentorship from Grammy Award Winning Ceelo Green who discovered him at the age of 11.
He performed at his biggest audience yet this for 10, 000 people at SA’s Most Wanted Concert alongside Riky Rik, Sho Madjozi, and Cassper Nyovest.
