Watch: Cassper Nyovest's emotional Global Citizen concert performance

Cassper Nyovest gave a moving rendition of HHP’s ‘Harambe’ during the Global Citizen's #TogetherAtHome' concert, which raised millions for the coronavirus pandemic.
Cassper Nyovest was one of the South African artists who got to perform for the Global Citizen #TogetherAtHome concert.

The concert is aimed at raising awareness about the coronavirus pandemic and offering global support to those affected by the pandemic. It took place on Saturday, 18 April, and featured hundreds of international celebrities including Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez.
The concert raised close to $128-million.
Cassper chose to perform ‘Harambe’ - a song originally done by the late HHP.
“ Ladies and gentlemen this next song we are going to be doing is a cover. The original was written by a very very great man by the name Jabulani Tsambo. Us, his fans know him as HHP, ” the rapper said.
“The title of the song is 'Harambe' which means pull together which is what we need the world to do right now,” he added.
The 'Tito Mboweni' hitmaker explained that the message in the song is important and fitting to the current condition the world finds itself in.
"I had prepared this performance of this classic cause the message in this song is soooo important and fitting. RIP to Jabba ! Love you forever!!!!" he wrote on Twitter.

Cassper went on to encourage people not to lose hope.
" The #TogetherAtHome concert is so important. While we are singing and dancing. Please remember the cause. We can beat Covid 19! We can do it together!!!" he wrote on Twitter.
