Twelve years after her death South Africans have taken to
social media to remember the life, legacy and work of one of South Africa’s
best pop singers.
The 9th of May marks one of the saddest days on the South African music calendar.
On this day in 2004 Brenda Fassie died after a long stay in hospital.
Twelve years since her death, South Africans have taken to social to remember Brenda and her life.
Many posted messages about that they remember most about Mabrr and even shared some of her most iconic jams.
Many celebs also joined in to talk about how Brenda and her music impacted their lives.
