Liam Payne still enjoys performing One Direction songs

“I love singing the 1D songs when I’m out and about. It’s quite nostalgic for me," says Liam Payne.
Liam Payne has had a successful solo career since One Direction took an indefinite break in 2016, but he will never forget where it all started.
Speaking to People, the 24-year-old says the group offered “some of the best, best times in my life."
“I’ll never forget where I came from. That’s why I love singing the 1D songs when I’m out and about. It’s quite nostalgic for me," he told the magazine.
Liam might still enjoy singing his 1D hits, but he is making hits of his own.
His collaboration with J Balvin, 'Familiar', is currently at number 24 on the Coca-Cola Top 40 chart.

'For You', his 'Fifty Shades Freed' song with Rita Ora, is at number 36 after spending months on the chart.
His songs, 'Strip That Down' and 'Bedroom Floor', were also chart-toppers.
Liam is gearing up for the release of his debut solo album, which is expected to drop on September 14.
He hasn't revealed much about the LP, but he has already hinted that his fans can expect a "beautiful mix of people" on the album.
“I’ve released so many different types of music. This album’s so important for me right now so I can find out which lane is most suited for me: the fine-tuning experiment of what you think of yourself, where you want to go and what other people think of you. As soon as you can find that median point between all three, you’re there — and this is like the last piece of the puzzle for me," he told People.
