This is after the singer was accused of singling out women of colour when mentioning the women that she looks up to in the music industry.

"I’m sorry that I didn’t add one 100% Caucasian person into the mix of the women that I admire, but it really says more about you than it does about me. And I think that what’s interesting is, the very first time I decided to tell you anything about my life, or the fact that I’m writing books that chronicle that fragility, that 200,000 hateful, spiteful comments come in,” she said.

Since the post, Lana says she has been a victim of cyber abuse, and her phone number was even leaked.

Lana said her post was taken out of context. She added that it made her search into her heart and check if her intentions were pure.

"It really again makes you reach into the depth of your own heart and say, "am I good-intentioned" and of course for me the answer is always yes".

The singer also mentioned the name of her new album which is set out to be released on September 4.

She said it will be called ‘Chemtrails Over the Country Club’.
