Justin Bieber triggered by Shawn Mendes' 'Prince of Pop' title
Justin Bieber just threw major shade at Shawn Mendes.
Canadian singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes is celebrating a victory after being named the 'Prince of Pop' by Observer Magazine.
He took to his Instagram to share the good news with his 42.9-million followers.

However, the new title has been met with a bit of shade - especially from his Canadian counterpart Justin Bieber, who has taken to the comments section of that particular post with a bit of popstar rivalry.
“Hmm gonna have to break a few more records to dethrone my title there bud (Canadian voice). But if you want, we can play hockey for it, but I heard your [sic] a real bender on the ice we could just drop the buckets and tilt for it," he said.
As you may have guessed it, people started their own little war under Bieber's comment and suspected there may be beef between the two Hailey Baldwin-lovers - the current love and her ex, of course.

However, by the looks of Shawn's reply, it's just a bit harmless fun. Although in essence, they are competitors, it's all in the name of some good, clean rivalry.
Shawn replied by saying: "LOL any time any day you just let me know!!!!!!".
