Finally! Rihanna's new album set to drop in December
Rihanna is finally ready to drop a new album - three years after her last LP.
The wait is almost over. Rihanna's fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief following news that her ninth studio album will more than likely be released in December.
The "Rihanna Navy" has practically been begging the star to release new music. Riri's last released an album in 2016 when she dropped 'ANTI'.

The 31-year-old has been focused on other projects including her successful Fenty beauty and clothing lines.
French journalists, who attended Universal Music France’s Open Session last week, shared the news on social media.

Rihanna has previously stated that her new album will drop sometime in 2019, but it looks like she is waiting for the very last minute.
She joked that she might call the album 'R9', the nickname her fans have been using.
"I'm about to call it that probably, 'cause they have haunted me with this 'R9, R9, when is R9 coming out? How will I accept another name after that's been burned into my skull?" she said told The New York Times Style Magazine in May.
