Beyoncé releases empowering new 'Freedom' video

Beyoncé supports girls around the world in empowering new video for 'Freedom'.
Grammy Award-winner Beyoncé shared a powerful new video for her 2016 song 'Freedom' this week.
The video was released on Wednesday to coincide with International Day of the Girl Child.
The day aims to highlight gender inequalities, and promote human rights for girls around the world.
This year's theme, 'EmPOWER Girls: Before, during and after crises', was celebrated worldwide.
Beyoncé's new video sees girls lip-syncing to her her 'Freedom' song, which is taken off her critically acclaimed album, 'Lemonade'.
"Today is #DayoftheGirl. Girls around the world are fighting for their freedom every day. Join me, Chime for Change, and The Global Goals by taking action for #FreedomForGirls now: www.globalgoals.org/dayofthegirl," Queen B wrote on her Facebook page.
