Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Doja Cat & Meg Thee Stallion make music history

Girl power! Women are ruling the music charts.
Four black women are occupying the number one and two spots on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the first time in history.
Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Doja Cat & Meg Thee Stallion's hot new remixes obliterated the competition.
Doja Cat's 'Say So' remix with Nicki Minaj claimed the number one spot with Meg Thee Stallion and Beyoncé's 'Savage' remix coming in a close second.
It's Nicki and Doja Cat's first number one on the chart!
'Say So', which is a popular track with TikTok users, is also #1 on the Hot R&B Songs, Pop Songs, and Digital Song Sales charts.

Both Nicki and Doja Cat, whose father is South African actor Dumisani Dlamini, thanked their fans for making their single number one.
"Can’t thank you guys enough for going so hard this past week to help us make history. I saw it all. You’ll never understand how much you uplift me with the overwhelming love & support you continue to show. I love you so much. Like so much. So much. 🎈Dear @dojacat, thanks for trusting me with your baby. Hope I lived up to your expectations. You’re so extremely talented & so deserving of this moment," Nicki wrote on Instagram.
The 'Say So' remix is also number one in 30 countries.

Meg Thee Stallion also couldn't contain her excitement.
"GOTTIES WE JUST HIT NUMBER 2 ON THE HOT 100. We’ve come so far. I promise to keep working hard and getting better everytime ! Thank y’all for growing with me. Look at all this girl power," she wrote on Instagram.
The 'Savage' remix is the number one song on the Rolling Stone Top 100 Songs chart, with 'Say So' coming in second.
Both songs, including the remix version, have popular dance challenges on TikTok!
Celebrities are also getting in on the 'Savage' and 'Say So' dance challenge action.
