Missy Elliott and Uncle Waffles working on amapiano song?

American rapper Missy Elliot has hinted that she might be working on a new song with Uncle Waffles.
Amapiano music is taking over the world! The genre, which first gained popularity in South Africa, has caught the eye of international music star Missy Elliott.
The 'Get Ur Freak On' rapper could soon be hopping onto an amapiano song. She teased a possible collaboration with Uncle Waffles on X (formerly Twitter) this week.Missy made the remarks in reply to a tweet shared by entertainment reporter Tinashe Venge.
"I’m smelling a Missy and Waffles remix soon. How would you like to hop onto an amapiano track Mizzdemeanour?" he wrote on
Missy replied: "Might be sumn in the work."

Missy appears to be a big fan of Uncle Waffles. The 52-year-old rapper attended one of the South African-based DJ's recent sets in Atlanta, Georgia.
"@unclewaffffles big up. I went to see her play her set the other night & she always be snappin on the DJ tip. She smash up da place. Hopefully big tingz soon," Missy wrote.
Ciara has also shown Uncle Waffles some love. The pair linked up shortly after Uncle Waffles made her debut at the 2023 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in California.
Uncle Waffles taught Ciara how to do her famous 'Yahyuppiyah' dance challenge. Drake is also team Uncle Waffles.
He started following the DJ on Instagram in 2021, and gave her a shout-out in 2022 when he reposted a video of her working her magic on the decks.
