Mariah Carey kicks off the 2023 festive season: 'It's time'
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
The 'Queen of Christmas' has officially defrosted...
Christmas is Mariah Carey season and the star is ready for her two-month-long moment in the spotlight.
The 54-year-old has owned the festive season (musically) ever since the release of her 1994 hit, 'All I Want for Christmas Is You'.
The song is nearly 30 years old but always dominates the charts in the build-up to Christmas Day on December 25.
The song and her packed festive season schedule have earned her the 'Queen Of Christmas' title - though she can't officially own the term for legal reasons.

Mariah season officially kicks off on November 1 - right after Halloween ends.
Sadly, the 'Queen of Halloween', Heidi Klum, has just one day to enjoy her moment before Mariah takes over.
Here's a look at what Heidi wore for Halloween 2023.
Move over, Heidi, because it's time!
Mariah shared a video of herself defrosting on her Instagram page.
The two children she shares with Father Abraham, uhm, we mean Nick Cannon, also appear in the clip.
"It’s…… TIME!!! 🎃🧊🎄 #MariahSZN," the 'It's A Wrap' singer wrote.
MORE FROM EAST COAST RADIO
Mariah has a busy festive season lined up.
Not only will she start her 'Merry Christmas One And All!' tour in November, but she has also designed festive-themed outfits for a clothing brand.
And that's just the beginning!
