Love on Tour: Harry Styles raises R117m for charity
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
More than 27 charities will benefit from Harry's 'Love On Tour' concerts.
Harry Styles just wrapped up the biggest tour of his career and the 29-year-old has a lot to celebrate after nearly three years on the road.
'Love On Tour' is one of the highest-grossing tours of all time, with nearly $600-million (R10.8-billion) in ticket sales, according to Billboard.
Ticket sales for June 2023 alone amounted to $105-million (R1.9-billion) alone - beating the likes of Taylor Swift (Eras Tour) and Beyoncé (Renaissance World Tour).
Harry might be cashing in big time thanks to the success of the tour, but he is not the only one with something to smile about.
According to Variety, the 'As It Was' hitmaker's tour donated $6.5-million (R117-million) to charity. He raised funds for more than 27 charities, including Planned Parenthood, Save the Children, Every Town for Gun Safety, and Black Minds Matter UK.

Harry wrapped up the final show of the 'Love On Tour' concert series in Italy last week. He performed in front of 120 000 people.
"It’s been the greatest experience of my entire life. Thank you to my band, and all the crew who made the last few years so special. It’s been an absolute pleasure. To everyone who came out to see us play, thank you. I feel so incredibly full and happy, it’s all because of you. You have given me memories that will last a lifetime, more than I could have ever dreamed of," the 'Daylight' singer wrote on his Instagram story after the show.
More than five-million fans attended the tour which started in Las Vegas in September 2021 and ended in July 2023.
The tour, which promoted the singer's 'Fine Line' and 'Harry's House' albums, consisted of 169 shows across five continents. It currently sits at #4 on 'Billboard Boxscore Top 10 Tours of All Time'.
