Jade Thirlwall is the latest Little Mix star to release a new song in 2024. She dropped her new track, 'Angel of My Dreams', on Friday, July 19.

The English singer also released the song's music video, which has been described as a work of art by her fans.

The video reportedly pays homage to popular movies such as 'Showgirls', 'Black Swan', and 'The Fifth Element'.

"I love love love seeing people dissect and interpret the video. Maybe over time I’ll delve into the meanings more but for now just seeing the response is blowing my mind. Have you spotted all the Easter eggs yet?" Jade said.

One person who seems to have spotted many of the Easter eggs and meaning behind Jade's new song and music video is Mimi The Music Blogger.

She took to X (Twitter) to share her thoughts on what the visuals and lyrics could men.

"Angel of My Dreams by @jadethirlwall explores the complex emotions of being in an unbalanced relationship with the music industry The lyrics are written in deep, conflicting feelings— love mixed with frustration and hurt," she wrote.

Jade takes her fans on a rollercoaster of emotions of love, longing, pain, and internal conflict.

Mimi wrote: "The relationship between Jade and the industry is described as a mix of intense love and hate (the switch up between the two productions) which Jade finds unfair throughout the song . The word "bittersweet" reflects how it’s a blend of joy and pain."

Jade reposted Mimi's X thread on her Instagram Stories, which we're taking as a sign that she approved of her analysis.

Jade gave a shout-out to director Aube Perrie for bringing 'Angel of My Dreams' to life.

"Thank you for bringing this song to life, in the most dramatic, exciting, imaginative, unhinged way possible. I am forever grateful. Director of my dreams," she wrote.

Jade plays several different roles in the video, and her fans are impressed with every single one.

"I just love the fact that the music video helps to understand the composition of the song, why it slows down, why it becomes faster.. An absolute masterpiece!!!" one Instagram user wrote.

Another user commented: "Babes, you smashed it and the video is ART!!!"

Jade's Little Mix group member, Leigh-Anne Pinnock,  says she is excited for Jade's new music. "Words can't express how proud I am of you! Now go on and TAKE IT," the 'Don’t Say Love’ hitmaker commented on one of Jade's posts.

MORE FROM EAST COAST RADIO:

Little Mix's Perrie Edwards released her debut solo song, 'Forget About Us', in April. Her follow-up song, 'Tears', was released in June.

Fans speculated that the track is about her relationship with ex-fiancé Zayn Malik.

"Said you’re sorry now /You should have been sorry then/ But you’ll never see me cry again/ I don’t even care anymore/ You can keep the pain of it all /I know I’m never getting back/ All my tears from you," she sings on the song.

'Angel of My Dreams' is Jade's first solo song.

"This song means everything to me - my love/hate letter to the music industry, telling my story from the beginning of my journey to now. It’s the perfect introduction and launch into my world as a solo artist, so buckle the f**k up," Jade said.
