Listen: Ndlovu Youth Choir’s song for SA amid ongoing riots

The choir is back with another inspirational video amid the struggles that the country faces.
South Africa is currently dealing with “public violence of a kind rarely seen in the history of our democracy,” President Cyril Ramaphosa said in his speech on Monday.
At least 72 people have been killed in riots across Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.
The Ndlovu Youth Choir is using its music to unite South Africa and offer comfort.

The group released a short video on Instagram, singing the popular hymn ‘Mangisondele’, which is translated into English as, “Lord bring us closer to you”, to ask God to help South Africa amid ongoing riots.
“We pray for peace in our beautiful land during these difficult times. God bless South Africa,” the abstract of the video reads.
