Keri Hilson and Eric Benét team up on 'Can't Wait'
Eric Benét says it always been a dream to collaborate with Keri Hilson.
Eric Benét is bringing back old-school love songs with help from some special co-stars.
Benét has teamed up with Keri Hilson on a new song, 'Can't Wait.' The track is featured on his upcoming album, 'The Co-Star'.
According to several reports, the project will be a duet album featuring collaborations with other artists, including India Arie.
If his new song with Hilson is anything to go by, fans are in for a treat.
"I got my chains on / And my favourite cologne / The barber got me right, I know / And they just valeted the Ghost / But let me tell you / All these things ain't better / Than walking with a Queen," Benét croons.
'Can't Wait' is already getting great reviews from R&B lovers.
"This is a jam! It was love at first listen and set my weekend off right," one wrote on Instagram.
Speaking to ThisIsRnb, Benét says he has always wanted to work with Hilson.
"It has always been a dream of mine to release music with Keri. She’s an undeniably powerful songwriter, a phenomenal singer, and just a beautiful person inside and out.
"Being able to bring the vision of ‘Can’t Wait’ to life has been an incredible experience, and I am beyond excited to finally share this song with our fans!”
The 'Spend My Life With You' hitmaker premiered the song's music video on YouTube this week.
