Award-winning singer Kelly Clarkson has shared two songs from her upcoming album that perfectly capture the essence of relationships.
Kelly released 'Mine' and 'Me' on Friday morning.
She explained on social media what her upcoming album, 'Chemistry', is about.
"Having chemistry with someone is an incredible, and overwhelming, feeling. It’s like you have no choice in the matter. You are just drawn to each other. This can be good and bad.
"This album takes you down every path that chemistry could lead you down," wrote Kelly on Instagram.
Though previously Kelly had said she will be releasing one song, she surprised her fans with two releases this morning.
She says the two songs give a balance of what the album is all about.
"We decided to release 'mine' and 'me' at the same time because I didn’t want to release just one song to represent an entire album, or relationship.
"There are many stages of grief and loss on this album. Each song is a different stage and emotional state," she wrote.
The album will be out on June 23rd.
