North West, the daughter of rapper Kanye West, has announced that she is working on her debut album.
The 10-year-old shared the news at her father's 'Vultures 2' listening party in Phoenix, Arizona. North told attendees her upcoming album will be called 'Elementary School Dropout'.
The name is an ode to Kanye's critically claimed debut studio album, 'College Dropout'.
'Hi, it's Northie, and I've been working on an album. And it's called Elementary School Dropout," she said at the event.

North, whose mother is Kim Kardashian, earned her first Billboard 100 entry in 2024. She is featured in Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign's song, 'Talking/Once Again'.
North's rap, which features the lyrics 'It's your bestie, Miss, Miss Westie', went viral on TikTok. The pre-teen also features in the song's music video.

Social media users had mixed reactions to North's album announcement. Many are proud to see that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

However, some people slammed the move, saying North is too young to be exposed to the music industry.
