Singer-songwriter Halsey just released the first song from her upcoming album.

'The End' debuted on Tuesday.

"I’m releasing the first song off my 5th album tomorrow 6/04 at 9am pt / 12 et. Before the first single comes, I wanted to share this. It means a lot to me and I love it. Let’s try something different this time and start at 'The End'," she wrote before the song's release.

The 'Without Me' hitmaker also released a lyric video for the song on YouTube.

"Every couple of years now, a doctor says I'm sick / Pulls out a brand new bag of tricks / And then they lay it on me / And at first, it was my brain, then a skeleton in pain / And I don't like to complain, but I'm saying sorry," she sings.

Halsey revealed in a post she shared on Instagram that she has been battling a serious illness.

"Long story short, I’m Lucky to be alive. short story long, I wrote an album. It begins with The End," she captioned a video of herself rubbing her legs.

“As you may have guessed, I have written a new album, but I needed some time to figure out how to say what I needed to say. You see, I’ve been holding [redacted] and I need to let it out. There’s so much I am going to reveal on this record, but you need to know some of the story first,” she wrote in a letter shared on ForMyLastTrick.com.
