George Michael's music legacy lives on long after his death. The music video for the late English singer's 1984 classic, 'Careless Whisper', has officially reached one-billion views on YouTube.
The video was published on the two-time Grammy Award winner's YouTube page on October 25, 2009.
According to Variety, the 'Careless Whisper' music video gets an average of 400,000 global views a day. And now - more than a decade later - the video joins the likes of Psy's 'Gangnam Style' and The Weeknd's 'I Feel It Coming' which both achieved the milestone in the past year.
'Baby Dhark Dance' remains the highest-watched music video on YouTube with a whopping 12.55-billion views and counting.
Luis Fonsi comes in second with 8.11-billion views, followed by LooLoo Kids' 'Johny Johny Yes Papa' (6.6bn) and Cocomelon's 'Bath Song' (6bn).
Ed Sheeran, Wiz Khalifa, and Mark Ronson also have music videos in the top 10.

George Michael 'Careless Whisper' Fun Facts
George co-wrote 'Careless Whisper' with his Wham! band member, Andrew Ridgeley. The iconic track was released on the band's 'Make It Big' album.
