'Encanto' soundtrack climbs up the charts
Pressure like a drip, drip, drip that'll never stop, whoa... if you know the lyrics to this song then you have probably watched Disney's 'Encanto' movie a million times.
The year 2021 gave us a lot of heartaches but one thing we can be grateful for is the release of the hit animated movie, 'Encanto'.
The Disney movie's sing-a-long music was played at full blast in many homes over the festive season. The soundtrack for the animated movie just entered the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart in America.
The soundtrack was released a few days before the animated film hit the big screen in November. It features both English and Spanish songs.
'Encanto' tells the story of the Madrigal family. They receive special powers from a magic candle. The family-friendly movie is loved by young and old.
Jessica Darrow's song, 'Surface Pressure', is one of the movie's biggest hits. Darrow voices the character Luisa in the film.
The voice cast also includes Stephanie Beatriz as Mirabel Madrigal and María Cecilia Botero as Abuela Madrigal.

Songwriter and playwright Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote several original songs for the movie, including 'Surface Pressure'.
He also wrote 'The Family Madrigal', 'Waiting on a Miracle', and 'We Don't Talk About Bruno', which is currently trending at number five on YouTube.
