Dua Lipa is on track to join Rihanna and Taylor Swift in the billionaire's club.
The 28-year-old English singer bought back the rights to her publishing catalogue recently. According to The Sun, the move could make her a billionaire.
It's unclear how much the 'One Kiss' hitmaker paid for her catalogue, but the investment is likely to pay off in the long run.
Dua and her businessman father, Dukagjin 'Dugi' Lipa, have set up a company called Radical 22 Publishing Limited. The company will reportedly oversee all her commercial ventures.
"He felt like she was giving away too high a percentage of her earnings, and after becoming her manager he felt the next logical step was to come in as an official business partner. Dua wants to take back control of her career and Dugi is very hands-on," a source told The Sun about the father and daughter's plans.
The source added that the pair's business strategy could make her a billionaire by the time she is 40.

According to Cosmopolitan, Dua Lipa's net worth currently sits at around $35-million (R650-million).
While the figure is impressive, it is a far cry from what Taylor Swift and Rihanna are worth. Rihanna is currently the richest female musician on the planet.
Forbes puts Rihanna's net worth at a whopping $1.4-billion. The singer, who has not released a new album since 2016, makes most of her money from her Fenty Beauty and Savage x Fenty lingerie lines.
Taylor joined the Billionaires' Club in October 2023. Unlike Rihanna, her music and successful tours are the biggest drivers of her wealth.
Taylor's net worth to $1.1-billion, according to Forbes.
Dolly Parton, Madonna, and Celine Dion are also amongst the top 10 richest female musicians in the world.
Jay-Z is currently the richest musician in the world with an estimated $2.5-billion net worth.
Dua has a long way to go before becoming a billionaire but if she follows Taylor's music strategy, it could happen sooner than 40!
The singer already has new music lined up. She is set to release her new song, 'Houdini', this week. Dua also has plans for a new album in 2024.
