Drake calls Lil Wayne “most selfless artist ever”
Drake has thanked Lil Wayne for the good work he has done in promoting other artists, including himself.
Lil Wayne has been called the most influential Hip Hop artist of his generation.
Apart from making hits that have won him several awards, Wayne is also known for his role in helping upcoming artists. One such artist is Drake.
The Canadian rapper took to Instagram to thank Lil Wayne for believing in him.

“This man believed in me after so many never called again,” he wrote.
He went on to call Lil Wayne the “ Most selfless artist ever.”
Drake praised Lil Wayne and said he never held any artist back. He said Lil Wayne “always pushed us forward every single night in people's faces 20K packed into an arena and he had a whole set of his show dedicated to introducing us for years."
“All praise and credit due,” he wrote.
