Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus collaborate on 'Wrecking Ball' cover
Miley's 2013 hit song is getting the Dolly Parton touch...
Dolly Parton has teamed up with Miley Cyrus for a special cover of one of her most popular songs.
The country star has released her own version of 'Wrecking Ball'. Miley also appears in the remake.
The 'Flowers' hitmaker says she is excited to have her godmother doing a cover of her music.
"I’ve grown up covering my Aunt Dolly's music & it’s an honor to hear her singing one of my songs. I love you, Aunt Dolly! I’m so happy to add another collaboration under our bedazzled (studded leather) belt! We’re ROCKSTARS now! You can hear so much sweetness and love on this record," she wrote on Instagram.
Dolly took to the comments section of Miley's post to share a sweet message.
"I just love what you said about our ‘Wrecking Ball’ duet and I feel the same! I always feel so honored to be able to sing with you and get to be around you. You are the most gifted person I know, truly. I want to say again how proud I am of the record but more than anything how proud I am of you and our relationship."

Miley and Dolly sang the song live for the first time in December 2022. The country legend joined Miley onstage during her New Year's Eve Party special.
Dolly's version of 'Wrecking Ball' now features on her upcoming album, 'Rockstar'. The album features remakes of several classics, including 'Let It Be' by The Beatles.
Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Mick Fleetwood, and Peter Frampton appear on Dolly's version.
