The 'Genie in a Bottle' hitmaker has signed with a new record label and has plans to release new music...
Christina Aguilera is making major music moves in 2024. The 43-year-old is switching record labels after 26 years with RCA.
The singer is now signed to 5020 Records, which, according to its website, is a "recording studio and creative hub for the Latin and global music industry".
According to Variety, the new Latin label is under Sony Music, RCA's parent company.
Christina began her career with RCA in 1997 after execs were blown away by her cover of a Whitney Houston song on her demo tape. Christina released her debut hit single, 'Genie in a Bottle', in 1999.
The song celebrated its 25th anniversary this month.
"This song not only changed my life, but also impacted and connected me with countless others around the world. None of this would be possible without the love of my incredible fans. I am forever grateful for you all and the passion you’ve shown me and my music throughout my career," Christina wrote on Instagram.

Christina rose to fame around the same time as Britney Spears, but she proved to be a dominant force of her own.
Her debut self-titled album produced hits such as 'What a Girl Wants', 'Come on Over (All I Wants Is You)', 'Reflection', and 'I Turn to You'.
Her second studio album, 'Mi Reflejo', was recorded in Spanish and included a Spanish version of her debut single, 'Genio Atrapado'.
Christina shocked her fans in 2002 when she released a sexy new album with a risky new look.
She 'Stripped' down figuratively and literally! The album's lead single, 'Dirrty', was accompanied by a controversial sexual music video that had moms clutching their pearls.
Despite the controversy, 'Stripped' produced classics such as 'Fighter', 'The Voice Within', and 'Can't Hold Us Down' featuring Lil Kim.
The five-time Grammy Award winner is gearing up to release new music in 2024. Christina's last English album was 2018's 'Liberation'.
She told the audience at one of her Vegas residency shows that she is working on a new album.
"It's great to be on stage because this new show in Vegas is really fuelling my creativity," she said in February.
"I've been working on experimenting with new sounds and writing. A lot has happened over the past six years - huge personal and professional changes, growth and new inspirations, so I'm so excited to share all of it in the next album!" the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.
