Celine Dion drops new song amid health struggles
The Canadian singer is releasing new music for the first time since opening up about her health struggles in December.
Celine Dion has a new song out this week called, 'Love Again'. The 55-year-old took to Instagram to announce the track's release.
"NEW TRACK ALERT! Available now, 'Love Again', the title track from the motion picture," she wrote.
'Love Again' - the movie - stars former Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and Scottish actor Sam Heughan in the lead roles.
Priyanka's husband, Nick Jonas, also features.
Celine will make her big screen debut in the romantic comedy. She plays herself in the film. Several of the five-time Grammy Award winner's songs appear in the movie's soundtrack.
"Mark your calendars, on May 5, the movie hits theatres and on May 12, the full album, featuring 5 new Celine songs, will be available," Celine wrote.

'Love Again' is the first new song Celine has released since announcing her shocking health diagnosis in December. She revealed that she has a rare neurological disorder known as "stiff-person disorder".
The disorder causes spasms and affects her singing. Celine was forced to reschedule several shows.
“Unfortunately the spasms affect every aspect of my daily life, sometimes causing difficulties when I walk and not allowing me to use my vocal cords to sing the way I’m used to. I have a great team of doctors working alongside me to help me get better and my precious children who are supporting me and giving me hope. I’m working hard with my support medicine therapist every day to build back my strength and my ability to perform again, but I have to admit it’s been a struggle," she said in an emotional video.

Celine's fans are looking forward to seeing her in action in 'Love Again' and hearing more new music from her. Priyanka described the film as "our ode to Céline".
"I think having new music from her is such a blessing in this movie," she told PEOPLE magazine in a February 2023 interview.
Celine told the publication she had so much fun working on the film.
"... to have the privilege of appearing with the beautiful and talented actors Priyanka Chopra and Sam Heughan in my very first feature film is a privilege that I will cherish forever."
