Carly Rae Jepsen is back! Singer teases new 'Western Wind' project

2022 is shaping up to be a busy year for Carly Rae. She has several big events lined up and is set to release new music.
Carly Rae Jepsen is gearing up for an exciting new project.
The 'Call Me Maybe' singer took to social media to hint that she is cooking up something special for her fans.
"x marks the spot," she captioned a map of California. The map showed some of the state's famous landmarks and included words like "Coming in like a western wind" and "First bloom, you know it’s spring."

The caption and image did not reveal much about what she is up to but a billboard spotted by several fans revealed the title of her upcoming project.
It will be called 'Western Wind'. Her fans are expecting her to release new music soon. Carly has been spotted in the studio on several occasions in the past year.
"Changing the lyrics at the last second as I do," she captioned a January 2022 post.

Carly Rae's last album was 2020's 'Dedicated Side B'. She worked on several music projects in 2021.
The 36-year-old performed with the NAC Orchestra in December. She also released her single, 'Me And The Boys In The Band'.
Earlier this year, Carly revealed that she will be performing at Mexico's Tecate Emblema event in May. She is also set to perform at the Rock Werchter in Belgium, which is taking place in June-July.
Carly also has upcoming performances in Spain, Denmark, and England.

Carly's next big gig is taking place at the Coachella Music Festival, which kicks off next week. She'll be performing on April 15 and April 22.
