Singer Camila Cabello says it is hard to pour from what feels like an empty cup.

She opened up about her feelings in an Instagram post. "Going thru it lately ❤️‍🩹" she captioned a picture of herself lying in bed.

The 'I Luv It' hitmaker adds that she sometimes needs to "disappear" when she is feeling low.

"Feels like sometimes there is heartache everywhere I look, within me and around me and I try my best to show up for my friends, my fans and the people that show up for me but it’s hard to pour from what feels like an empty cup."

Camila didn't go into too many details about what was troubling her but assured her fans that she would be back better than ever.

"If I am a part of your life and I disappear sometimes, that’s probably why. So brb while I get some bandages and warm honey and stitches for this head and heart. You know I’ll be back from my trips to hell hotter, funnier and smarter," she said.

The 27-year-old ended her post by saying, "27 is messy."

The singer's 65-million followers told her to take all the time she needed to get to a good headspace.

"Felt this whole caption; emptiness is the worst to feel and explain," one fan wrote.

Some encouraged her to focus on her self-care. "Fall in love with taking care of yourself @camila_cabello."

MORE FROM EAST COAST RADIO:

Camila's post comes a few weeks after she was pictured with her ex-boyfriend, Shawn Mendes, at the Copa America final between Argentina and Colombia in Miami last month.

The former lovers called it quits in 2021 after more than two years of dating. They were spotted at Coachella together in 2023, but their reunion was short-lived.

Camila told the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast in March this year that breaking up the second time was a lot easier.

"Luckily, I was in a place in my life where it took me less time to realise - it took us both less time - to be like, 'This doesn't feel right, and we don't really need to try so hard to make it work. It's all good. This is not feeling good. Let's be friends. I love you. Let's move on, you go do your thing... become the person you are becoming and I'll root for you,'" she said.
