Calling all grandmas - Eminem teases 'Fortnite' collab
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
Eminem is getting ready to enter the 'Fortnite' gaming universe, but what does your grandma have to do with it?
US rapper Eminem is working on an exciting new project with Epic Games' popular online video game, 'Fortnite'.
Well, that's if his latest social media post is anything to go by. The 51-year-old took to Instagram this week to share a teaser of a possible collaboration with the game.
"Calling all grandmas 12.2," he wrote. Eminem's post included a video that shows the 'Fortnite' logo flashing on an old-school TV. His song, 'Tone Deaf', plays in the background.
The 'Mockingbird' rapper did not share any other details but it is clear he has something big planned with the billion-dollar video game brand.
But do grandmas have to do anything?

Fans have been unable to decipher the meaning of Eminem's caption. There are currently zero grannies in 'Fortnite' and we don't know many grandma-gamers.
There are a few that play the game, but of the more than 100-million players in the 'Fortnite' universe, the chances of your grandma being one of them is very low.
That hasn't stopped Eminem's fans from making jokes about the grandma reference.
"My gran is gonna love this," one Instagram user teased. Another user added: "Imagine walking in your Grandmas house and she's just sitting there playing Fortnite with Eminem."
MORE ON EAST COAST RADIO:
'Fortnite' is no stranger to collaborations with music superstars. Some of the game's previous collabs include Ariana Grande, Marshmello, and Travis Scott.
Some musicians get their own concerts in the game, while others get 'Fortnite' skins dedicated to them.
Sports stars such as Lewis Hamilton, Neymar Jr., and LeBron James have also featured in the game.
Eminem and 'Fortnite' fans will just have to wait until Saturday, December 2, to find out what they have up their sleeve.
The video game will be launching an "unforgettable event" on the date. Billed as 'The Big Bang' event, Epic Games says it will be “evolving all things as you know them".
Alleged leaks revealed that three new gaming modes will be introduced. There's also talk that one of the modes will be music-related and will be called, 'Fortnite Festival'.
Lady Gaga and Linkin Park are reportedly set to feature in the music mode.
