Blackpink's Lisa shares scary stalker fan experience
Updated | By Lifestyle Reporter
A fan showed up at Lisa's house unannounced, making her feel scared and unsafe.

Blackpink singer Lisa has opened up about the crazy side of fame.
The 27-year-old shared a shocking incident involving a stalker fan that left her feeling uneasy.
"For the first time last year, I was alone in South Korea... Usually, when my flight lands in South Korea, fans will be there waiting at the airport. That’s normal, and I appreciate that they come. I really miss them too. But when I got home, I saw them waiting,” the K-pop star told Thai radio talk show host Woody Milintachinda.
The 'Pink Venom' singer says she was alone at the time.
"I told that person, ‘I’m really not comfortable with this. If you want to see me, let’s meet somewhere public. Showing up like this at my house, I feel uncomfortable.’"
Despite the plea, the fan returned to her home, which made her fearful to go outside, especially because she didn't have high walls around her property.
"That’s when I really started to worry, because I was completely alone. There was no one with me.”
Another terrifying incident happened when she left her house to catch a taxi to her dance rehearsal, as her manager wasn't able to pick her up.
"So I thought it’s just a rehearsal, I could go there and get back home myself. But then that person tried to get into my taxi by sticking their leg between the taxi door.”
The incidents have made her scared of being alone.
“To be honest, I didn’t know how I should feel. But I did feel like I was scared to be alone. I felt unsafe, even though Love, my dog, would bark. There was a period of time when I asked my female manager to accompany me. It was terrifying for a 20-year-old girl who lived alone,” she said.
Lisa's debut solo studio album, 'Alter Ego', was released on Friday, February 28, just in time for her Sunday Oscars performance.
She will perform her new song, 'Born Again', with Doja Cat and RAYE.
Lisa has released three other singles from 'Alter Ego'. 'Rockstar' debuted in June 2024, 'New Woman' in August and 'Moonlit Floor' in October.
Her alter egos – Speedi, Kiki, Roxi, Vixi and Sunni – inspired most of the songs on the album.
"I was trying so many different kinds of music and styles while I was recording. I was like, 'Oh, well, I have never done this stuff before, but it sounds great; why not just put all the different styles into the album and call it alter ego,'" she said in an interview.
Listen to 'Alter Ego' on Spotify and Apple Music.
