Kickstart the weekend with this new single from Blackpink's Jennie Kim, 'You & Me’.
Blackpink's Jennie Kim has released a new single called 'You & Me'.
The single comes five years after her first single, 'Solo', which came out in November 2018.
Fans first got a taste of 'You & Me' in 2022 when the singer performed it at Blackpink's ‘Born Pink’ world tour at the KSPO Dome in Seoul, South Korea. She also performed it again at Coachella 2023.
Now, the song has been released as an official recorded single and predictions by Forbes is that the song will top the charts.
'You & Me' is a love song with an upbeat tempo that is sure to please dance lovers.
I love you and me
Dancing in the moonlight
Nobody can see
It’s just you and me tonight
The song comes after Jennie told Harper’s Bazaar Korea that she is working on new and unique solo music in September.
Some of her fans have described the single as song of the year.

Jennie is not the only member of Blackpink succeeding as a solo artist.
In September, bandmate Lisa became the first K-pop idol to reach a billion streams on Spotify with a solo song.
The single, 'Money' was released in 2021 from her debut album, 'Lalisa' and has over 900-million views on YouTube.
