Dance the weekend away to Billie Eilish's new music video...
Singer. Songwriter. Director.
Billie Eilish directed herself in the music video for her new single, 'Chihiro'. The visuals dropped on Thursday.
Billie is listed as the sole director of the video.
"One of my favorite videos I’ve made & truly one of the greatest days of my life hahahaaaa nat love you so much thank you for being a part of this," she wrote on Instagram.
The 22-year-old "envisioned a dream-like narrative" for the music video, according to a statement.
"The long, dark hallways and shutting of doors symbolise the different corners of the mind."
Along with her co-star Nat Wolff, she tumbles into an inescapable connection. The external expression of an internal push and pull, as our deepest feelings of fear, love, or desire inevitably catch up to us, no matter how hard we try to run away.

Rolling Stone magazine has called 'Hit Me Hard and Soft' Billie's "best album yet".
Fans are also raving about her new music.
"The instrumental is intoxicating. It's almost like Billie's vocals took a back seat, to let the beat shine but they did it on purpose," a YouTuber wrote about 'CHIHIRO'.
Another user praised the production, visuals, and vocals of the music video.
"There is this haunting sadness and unsettling anxiety that builds up throughout this entire song for me. The music video only exemplifies those feelings. Being in a toxic relationship is much like drowning - it starts with little things, the occasional wave crashing over you as you try to keep your head above water. But soon, the waves become larger, more frequent, until you're gasping for air constantly."
