The members of *NSYNC are in a 'Better Place' following their 2007 break-up.

Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick are gearing up for the release of their first song in more than 20 years.

'Better Place' is due for release on Friday, September 29. The 90s boyband shared a snippet of the song in a video this week.

"When the stars align… got my brothers back together in the studio to work on something fun and the energy was special," Justin wrote on Instagram

'Better Place' will feature on the soundtrack of the new 'Trolls' movie.

The third installment of the DreamWorks film will be released in November. Justin's character, Branch, is faced with a new adventure when a family makes a surprising visit to Troll Village.

It turns out that Branch was in a boyband called 'BroZone' with his four brothers. The 'Trolls' trailer makes reference to bands such as Backstreet Boys, Boyz II Men, and One Direction.

*NSYNC made a surprise appearance at the 2023 MTV VMAs on Tuesday, September 12. They presented the 'Best Pop' award at the ceremony.

This week's developments have given their fans hope that a reunion is on the cards for the band.

"Fingers crossed this is just the appetizer to the REAL news…*cough cough*…TOUR," one Instagram user commented.

Another added: "For the first time in a long time, I feel like we’re living in the brightest timeline."

Despite their excitement, *NSYNC reportedly does not have plans to work together beyond the 'Trolls' movie.

A source told TMZ that there are currently no plans to do a tour or record a new album.
