Amy Jones is gearing up for her big performance in the UK.
Singer and songwriter Amy Jones is taking her music career to new heights in 2022.
The Paarl-born musician will be making an appearance at the Shrewsbury Flower Show in the United Kingdom.
According to the show's Instagram page, this year's event will be taking place on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 August.
"We are so excited to share that the beautiful and talented, South African singer-songwriter, Amy Jones will be our Saturday headline act this year, as we return to our full live show again. Watch this space as we reveal more about this sensational performer and the show," the announcement read.
Amy says she has already started planning for her performance. "There’s still a lot to be done, but I am so excited!" she says.

"I knew I wanted to make my mark in this world but never thought I’d be singing on international stages! This is really a dream come true," she adds.
The 28-year-old started singing from an early age. She sang in front of her first big audience when she was just seven.
"My earliest singing memory, I remember singing to my whole entire school at the age of 7. The song was called ‘My boy lollipop’. I remember my mom still had to come to school to watch and hear me sing that morning. That was my very first performance."

Amy started writing her own songs as a teenager. It was at this moment that she realised she wanted to spend the rest of her life making music.
"I realized this when I wrote my very first song at the age of 16 and what it felt like to sing the song that I wrote. Seeing how people responded to my own music, was definitely another confirmation that this is what I was born to do," she reveals.
Amy released her debut single, 'Sunrise', in 2016 and has never looked back. She has released several other singles since then including 'I Think I'm In Love', 'Burn' and 'Dance On My Own'.
Her dream collaborations include Mi Casa's J'Something and Ed Sheeran - whose single, 'Shivers', is currently at number 29 on the East Coast Radio Top 40.
